SERVICES

Changeworks Press aims to make social change work into a viable career option for any person in the United States. In other words, Changeworks Press is working toward a day when students in high schools and universities will consider progressive social change work as a realistic option for a job or career.

Toward this end, Changeworks Press offers free presentations and workshops regarding internships, jobs, and careers with social change organizations.

The precise content and format of events varies according to the needs and interests of the organizers and audiences.

A presentation to students could include a discussion on the range of organizations and social movements in the United States, printed materials on internship opportunities and entry-level positions at progressive social change organizations, and guest speakers from local organizations.

A workshop for adult job seekers could describe a wide range of social change organizations and staff positions. And most likely, the participants would learn how to discover and apply for employment opportunities at organizations and social movements of interest to them.

Computer discs and packets containing relevant links, articles and tools are provided to audience members at all presentations and workshops.

If you would like to organize or host a presentation or workshop, please contact Changeworks Press.
