The following information may be requested by Changeworks Press to publish employment announcements or advertisements for organizations: the name of the organization; the street address and postal mailing address of the organization; the name of an individual contact person at the organization who can be contacted by Changeworks Press regarding the publication of employment listings; the current position of the contact person; the email address of the contact person; the fax number of the contact person or organization; the office telephone number of the contact person and recommended time to call. The contact person information is collected only to aid communication between organizations and Changeworks Press.

The following information may be requested by Changeworks Press to send publications to individuals: the name of individual; a postal mailing address; an email address; a telephone number and recommended time to call. Additional information may be requested for certain payment options; see below for details. Individual job-seekers subscribing to the CHANGEWORKS employment newsletter may also be asked to describe the type of position and type of employer sought, and the geographical location(s) under consideration. These details help Changeworks Press to meet the needs of all its newsletter subscribers, and to identify needs for new publications or services. But individual subscribers are not required to submit these details.

The office is not shared with other organizations, and it is kept securely locked. At all times, the office computer is protected by a hardware-based firewall as well as anti-virus software (updated every 6 hours).

All sensitive personal information stored at Changeworks Press is encrypted and password-protected using the 160-bit Blowfish algorithm. And when such sensitive personal information is no longer needed, it is completely deleted and destroyed using an approved, safe and secure method.

To guard against an office fire, some personal identification records, like subscription mailing lists, are copied to removable disks, encrypted, and stored in a secure off-site location. But highly-sensitive personal information like credit card information is not included in these off-site files because such information does not require long-term storage.

Individuals and organizations who purchase subscriptions or publications from Changeworks Press can expect to have their orders fulfilled and to receive two renewal notices and possibly a third invitation to renew one year later.

Organizations that submit free employment classifieds to Changeworks Press, or purchase display advertisements for publication through Changeworks Press, are contacted as necessary for employment information and might be contacted with an invitation to subscribe to the newsletter or contract with the research service.

Individuals or organizations that wish to prevent any future contact from Changeworks Press should contact the office via email, fax or postal mail.
