CHANGEWORKS – job & career information bulletin
SUBMIT JOBS
Progressive social change and public interest organizations are invited to submit all new job and paid-internship announcements for publication in CHANGEWORKS, the national employment bulletin for progressive job seekers in United States. CHANGEWORKS is distributed by electronic mail and First-Class U.S. Mail.
All employment listings in the CHANGEWORKS newsletter are published free of charge to the employer. This free service is provided to maximize the newsletter's coverage of new job opportunities, and to help progressive organizations reduce overhead costs.
Criteria for posting jobs
Any employment opportunity that meets the following criteria can be
published in CHANGEWORKS:
- The position must be based in the United States, but the work itself need not be limited to the United States. So the employer must have an office in the United States.
- The position must pay at least minimum wage or equivalent compensation. An unpaid internship or apprenticeship will not be accepted. But an internship or apprenticeship providing significant compensation, like housing and a stipend, will be considered.
- The position must support an organization or program seeking progressive social change on a local, national or global level.
Submitting employment information
If you think the readers of CHANGEWORKS might be interested in your organization, then please share your employment announcements with Changeworks Press. Just keep the following points in mind when submitting information:
- If possible, keep the announcements brief, emphasizing the most important and unique job requirements (e.g. foreign languages). Ideally, submit job listings in the form of single-paragraph classifieds.
- Please provide contact information for both Changeworks Press and potential applicants.
- CHANGEWORKS is published four times per month, on Wednesdays. For an announcement to be published
in a particular issue, it should be submitted by the preceding
weekend, and the application due date should be at least two weeks away. At this time, job listings can be submitted via US mail, telephone, fax, or email.
